The five-day shape
Day 1 — Kickoff, code-base walkthrough, environment access, dependency inventory.
Day 2 — Architecture review. Identify hot spots, anti-patterns, and the highest-risk areas.
Day 3 — Risk register. Hiring market, security advisories, dependency end-of-life, hosting / Azure-tier costs.
Day 4 — Migration roadmap. Phased plan. Effort estimates per phase. Sequencing.
Day 5 — Walk-through and fixed-price migration quote handover.
